Preparation
For the examination of the small intestine you need to come an hour before the MRI-scan starts. In order to examine the small intestines, you have to drink contrast material (Mannitol). You also need to fasten for at least 4 hours before the examination starts.
What is the procedure?
The examination is performed in prone position with your head first, so the stomach empties faster and the intestines are better presented. The procedure of the examination is exactly the same as mentioned above (liver, pancreas, etc.)
